Inspiration & Connection

Sometimes being a visionary in a rural community can be lonely.

The Rural Ideas Network helps passionate, forward-thinking individuals get inspired, share great ideas, and launch exciting new ventures.

We help entrepreneurs, social innovators, and the many people and organizations supporting rural community vibrancy.

Creating a Community of Change Makers

The Rural Ideas Network provides a diverse array of useful tools, engaging opportunities to connect with peers, access to experienced mentors, and more.

We've built an online community that connects, inspires, and empowers rural change makers.

And when rural change makers are engaged and empowered, their communities benefit.

A Growing Network

The Rural Ideas Network launched in 2021, at the onset of the Covid Pandemic. Within just a few months, nearly everyone became comfortable using video to connect. What was once "outlier" technology was the new normal.

We realized this meant passionate, forward-thinking individuals in rural communities could easily reach beyond their community to form peer groups, find inspiring ideas, and make connections with those brave enough to take a chance.

Thus the Rural Ideas Network was born, a vibrant online community for people and organizations who aren't afraid to try new ideas in order to achieve new results for their small towns.
